Want to Live up to 7.5 Years Longer?
According to a 2002 study conducted by Becca Levy at Yale University a person can live up to 7.5 years longer by doing just one simple thing: change your perspective about your own aging process from negative to positive.
That’s right! If you have a positive perspective about aging, that means your attitude and the actions that go along with it can lengthen your life dramatically. To me, 7.5 years is a dramatic amount of time in which I could do, be, see more of this wonderful life I’ve been given.
The effect that this positive outlook on aging has, is that it allows the “Law of Attraction” to draw into your life those positive things in which you believe. It allows abundance, well-being, and possibilities to open up before you.
Being positive is a barrier-breaker that tears down the attitudes and beliefs that limit, restrict, and cause lack in your life, which are also allowed by the “Law of Attraction.” For, as you believe, so shall you receive.
All you have to do is make a conscious choice to be more positive about your aging process. In turn, that optimism will cause you to make better choices about: nutrition, physical activity, lifelong learning, emotional and spiritual wellness, the environment you live and work in, and more.
Changing how you feel from negative to positive about your own aging process is the first step toward a longer, more fulfilling life, It will allow you to draw those things into your life that will enrich and enhance it for up to 7.5 years longer.
It will allow you to leave a legacy of hope instead of despair.
