Mindfulness Reaches Tipping Point in Western Society

Don't Forget

“Senior moments” is an ageist view of something people of every age do occasionally. How many times do children, teenagers and young adults claim to “forget” something. They don’t blame it on their age. I believe those lapses of memory that many refer to as “senior moments” can be credited more to a lack of mindfulness than forgetfulness.

In that vein, I am attaching Bill George’s excellent blog post on mindfulness. Mindfulness is an important component of emotional health. Enjoy!

EMOTIONAL WELLNESS – Be mindful of how you feel! Engage in mindfulness activities such as yoga and tai chi; talk with your doctor or counselor if you’re feeling blue.
